Does RotorLog work for FAA and EASA logging?

Yes. Flights carry the fields both systems expect: PIC, SIC, dual and instructor time, day and night takeoffs and landings with full-stops, instrument approaches and holds, and aircraft with ICAO type designators. PDF exports come in EASA Part-FCL and FAA styles, and the currency rules default to the FAA 61.57 windows but can be adjusted to your company minimums.

Yes. RotorLog is offline-first: log flights anywhere, and they sync when you are back online. The sync status of every record is visible in the app.

Does RotorLog track duty and rest?

Yes. Duty and rest are tracked alongside your flights: rolling 7 and 28 day windows, whether you are on duty now, and the rest before your next report time. Six built-in reference profiles are labelled by authority, from FAA 135.267 to EASA ORO.FTL and UK CAP 371, and you can adjust any of them to your operator's scheme. It is advisory: RotorLog flags problems early but does not certify legal compliance.

Can I share my logbook with an employer or examiner?

Yes, without giving anything up. A share link sends a masked, read-only copy to anyone, protected by a password, an expiry date and a view limit, and you can revoke it anytime. Verifications go further: an instructor or examiner can vouch for a flight, and if that flight is ever edited afterwards, the verification shows as out of date. Signatures and exact coordinates never leave your account.

How is my account protected?

Two-factor authentication, passkey sign-in on the web, and a devices screen where you can see every signed-in session and end any of them. Your logbook is also backed up to a complete CSV automatically every 7 days, and you can export everything yourself at any moment.

Why is RotorLog AI a separate add-on and not part of Pro?

The AI features run on paid third-party models, and every question and every imported page costs real money to process. RotorLog AI is priced to cover those running costs, not to turn a profit. Pro already includes limited AI access, and RotorLog AI simply raises those limits.
