How billing works
RotorLog is sold through the store for your platform: Apple's App Store on iOS, iPadOS and macOS; Google Play on Android; and Stripe for web and Windows. The price, billing period and any trial shown to you at the point of purchase, for your country and platform, are the ones that apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Apple (iOS / iPadOS / macOS): Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or through the App Store.
- Google Play (Android): Play Store → Subscriptions.
- Stripe (web / Windows): through the Stripe customer portal, which you can open from your account settings.
Refunds
Because purchases are processed by the stores, refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under its policy:
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund through Google Play's order history or help centre.
- Stripe (web / Windows): contact us at legal@rotorlog.com and we will help.
Outside your statutory rights, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time. We will, of course, honour any refund required by the law that applies to you.
Free trials
RotorLog offers a 3-day free trial on personal monthly and yearly plans. You will not be charged during the 3-day trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
One-time (lifetime) purchases
Where a one-time purchase is offered, it is a single payment rather than a subscription, and it is subject to the same store refund process and your statutory withdrawal rights below.
EU / EEA right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days, without giving a reason.
When you buy a subscription or digital purchase and ask to start using it immediately, you are asked to agree that performance begins right away and to acknowledge that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. This is the standard rule for digital content and services under EU consumer law.
If you have not started using the paid features and are within the withdrawal period, contact us and we will arrange your withdrawal. These statutory rights are in addition to, and not limited by, the store refund processes above.
